FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: unordered bulk of rod-like elements (3A?3F) in the from of filtering and tobacco parts of cigarettes is delivered onto conveyor containing consecutive predetermined sectors (1A) permitting to place elements on conveyor into separate rows (2). Type, quantity and layout of parts of each conveyed element is determined by scanning each of consecutive elements on conveyor. Scanning result is transferred to control unit (S), where each conveyor sector (1A) is assigned information about its contents. Conveyed elements are sorted based on information received from control unit by type and quantity of parts (3', 3") forming specified elements, as well as by orientation of specified parts (3', 3") relative to conveyor movement direction. Sorting is implemented by means of moving consecutive parts into appropriate receivers (12A?12E) selected based on information received from control unit.EFFECT: simpler handling of various defective cigarette elements.13 cl, 15 dwg |
