<p>Vitamin E compositions, methods of making such compositions and therapeutic uses of vitamin E compositions are disclosed. Compositions of matter comprising a tocotrienol making up at least 15 dry basis weight percent of the composition of matter and a constituent selected from a triglyceride and a triglyceride ester, wherein upon mixing of the composition of matter with water the tocotrienol based composition is substantially emulsified; and wherein upon mixing of the composition of matter with water a resulting emulsion has an intensity-weighed mean droplet size of less than 700 nm are also disclosed.</p>
