A method for manufacturing a soft metal clad laminate according to the present invention includes a step for forming a thin film layer by depositing a metal thin film on a polymeric film; a step for forming a metal conductor layer on the thin film layer by electric gilding the polymeric film having the thin film layer; and a step for performing a heating at temperatures higher than the glass transition temperature and lower than the onset decomposition temperature of the polymeric film. The method for manufacturing a soft metal clad laminate is capable of providing excellent adhesion strength between the polymeric film and metal conductor layer, and is feasible for high precision and high frequency uses.
