In this two-dimensional image processing device, in order to facilitate positioning an image capture mechanism to directly face a measured object, and to improve the accuracy and reproducibility of measurement, the image capture mechanism carries out image capture, and generates image data representing a two-dimensional image that extends in mutually orthogonal first and second directions. A first cutout area obtained by cutting out a first oblong image from the two-dimensional image, and a second cutout area obtained by cutting out a second oblong image from the two-dimensional image, are established in the two-dimensional image. The second cutout area is situated away in a first direction from the first cutout area, and in relation to a second direction has the same size as the first cutout area. An image set in which the second oblong image is adjacent to the first oblong image in the first direction is rendered on a display unit. |
