The refrigerator according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: a first door which selectively opens or closes a storage chamber and has an opening; multiple baskets coupled to the opening and are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction; a second door which is rotatably coupled to the first door and opens or seals the fronts of the baskets; and an illumination device arranged on the upper part of the opening to emit light to the baskets. At least one basket among the baskets includes a transparent lower surface unit which supports a stored content and transmits the light emitted from the illumination device to the lower part.
