<p>The present invention relates to a briquette and a method of manufacturing the same, and a method for refining molten steel by using the same. The briquette is a desulfurizing agent to eliminate sulfur from molten steel, and includes soda ash, ladle slag, and a binder. Since fluorspar used as the desulfurizing agent is substituted with the briquette, it is possible to prevent fluorine from being contained in slag due to the use of fluorspar, thereby increasing a recycling rate of the slag. Since the molten steel is mixed with supplementary material and the briquette by falling force of the molten steel down to a ladle, a sulfuric component is eliminated from the molten steel, and thus a separate process of applying artificial mixing force to the molten steel is not required, thereby improving the efficiency and the productivity of the process.</p> |
