The present invention relates to a system and a method to detect and classify a direct reaction advertisement and, more specifically, to a system to detect and classify a direct reaction advertisement and a method using the same. The provided system to detect and classify a direct reaction advertisement includes: an advertisement candidate segment generating unit which generates an advertisement candidate segment about an advertisement section detected from a broadcast stream; a matching unit which determines whether the advertisement candidate segment matches an advertisement segment stored in an advertisement database; a direct reaction advertisement judging unit which judges whether the advertisement candidate segment is a direct reaction advertisement or not in case the matching unit determines that the advertisement segment which matches the advertisement candidate segment does not exist; a direct reaction advertisement registering unit which stores the advertisement candidate segment, which is determined as a direct reaction advertisement in the direct reaction advertisement judging unit, in the advertisement database as the advertisement segment which is a direct reaction advertisement; and a direct reaction advertisement grouping unit which groups the advertisement candidate segment for the advertisement segments, which are direct reaction advertisements, are stored in the advertisement database in case the matching unit judges that the advertisement segment matching the advertisement candidate segment exists, and the matched advertisement segment is the direct reaction advertisement. |
