The dental instrument has a housing unit (10) and a work surface unit (12), which is provided as a support surface (12.1) for a dental workpiece. A machining unit is provided for machining the dental workpiece. The housing unit forms an inclined dust removal surface in an area of the machining unit. The inclined dust removal surface is formed partially to a bottom of cavity formed by the housing unit. An independent claim is included for a method for machining a dental workpiece. |
