SHELL-AND-TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER

A shell-and-tube heat exchanger includes a body in which a tube matrix of heat exchange tubes is placed, those are fixed in tube plates installed at the ends of the body, branch pipes for supply and discharge of heat carriers. Half of the tube bundle comprises the outer heat exchange tubes in which the inner heat exchange tubes are placed. The rows of the heat exchange tubes arranged as double-pipe heat exchangers alternate with the other half of the tube bundle where only inner heat exchange tubes are placed. All the inner tubes have inlet and outlet branch pipes. At the end sides of the body the front and the back inserts for flow control and the front and the back pressing covers are installed. On the body the inlet and outlet collectors for inlet and outlet of cooled substance are placed.
