1. A compressor comprising:
a casing; and a motor disposed inside the casing, the motor being welded to the casing at a plurality of weld positions, the motor including
a core having an annular back yoke portion, a plurality of tooth portions projecting radially inwardly from an inner circumference of the back yoke portion, and a slot formed between the tooth portions adjacent to each other,a coil disposed in the slot, andat least one insulating member disposed in the slot to insulate the coil from the core,the insulating member including first parts facing side surfaces of each of the tooth portions, respectively, and a second part facing the inner circumference of the back yoke portion,a part of the back yoke portion facing the slot being substantially arc-shaped,a border between a first part and the second part of the insulating member contacting with a border between a side surface of the tooth portion and the inner circumference of the back yoke portion, andthe second part of the insulating member being linearly disposed so as not to extend along the inner circumference of the back yoke portions so that a gap is provided between the inner circumference of the back yoke portion and the second part of the insulating member. |
