A spectro-photometric method for quantitative determination of acetylic functional component by light absorption of the product of reaction wherein peroxyacetic acid formed in the previous reaction of perhydrolysis (interaction of hydrogen peroxide with acetic acid ester) in weak acid medium in situ oxidizes 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine. The reaction is carried out in water-ethanol solution at pH 8.5, and the content of acetylic functional component is estimated by increase of optical density in 15 min. |
