PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize operation in an electronic device when power supply is cut off momentarily.SOLUTION: An electronic device 1 has a boosting circuit 2, a switching power supply circuit 9, a main IC 3, and a reset circuit 4. The reset circuit 4 has a power supply stop circuit 41 and a reset signal output circuit 42. The power supply stop circuit 41 detects whether or not voltage inputted into the boosting circuit 2 is a predetermined value or higher, and stops generation of voltage by the switching power supply circuit 9 when the voltage inputted into the boosting circuit 2 is lower than a predetermined value. When generation of voltage by the switching power supply circuit 9 stops, the reset signal output circuit 42 outputs a reset signal from a reset line 4a. That is, the reset circuit 4 detects that the voltage inputted into the boosting circuit 2 is lower than a predetermined value to reset the main IC 3. The main IC 3 can be reset without using a voltage drop detection function of a control IC in a conventional boosting circuit. |
