PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability performance and rolling resistance performance in a balanced manner.SOLUTION: The tire for heavy load includes a carcass ply 6A. A side wall rubber 3G includes an inner rubber portion 15 near a carcass 6 and an outer rubber portion 16 that is arranged outside the inner rubber portion and forms the outer surface of the tire. The inner rubber portion 15 has a loss tangent tanδ1 smaller than the outer rubber portion 16 with the difference therebetween of 0.010-0.035. The inner rubber portion 15 has a complex modulus smaller than the outer rubber portion 16 with the difference therebetween of 0.5-1.4 (MPa). In the inner rubber portion 15, an outer end 15s in a tire radial direction contacts an outer side face 2h in a tire shaft direction of a tread rubber 2G, and an inner end 15u in the tire radial direction is positioned further inside in the tire radial direction than an outer end 6e in the tire radial direction of a folded-back portion 6b of the carcass ply 6A. |
