PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-phase flowmeter capable of accurately measuring flow rate. SOLUTION: In order to extract a part of three-phase flow from a pipeline 23, a pair of communication pipes 13 connected to the upstream and downstream of an orifice 12 installed in the pipeline 23, and a gas-liquid extracting tank 14 are used. Slug flow or the like flows to the pipeline 23, thereby periodically varying the pressure difference across the orifice 12. Following this, in the pair of communication pipes 13 and the gas-liquid extracting tank 14, the extraction of the gas-liquid and exhaustion of gas mainly are performed simultaneously. In the gas-liquid extracting tank 14, the gas-liquid is forcibly shaken laterally and vertically to be stirred, and the gas-liquid whose liquid phase ratio is high remains. Gas is removed from the gas-liquid whose liquid phase ratio is high, mixed liquid is extracted and accumulates in a liquid pool tank 17. Mixed liquid required in a Coriolis meter 38 flows from the liquid pool tank 17, and highly accurate density measurement is therefore performed in the Coriolis meter 38. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
