PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and an electronic apparatus, capable of suppressing the occurrence of defective sealing.SOLUTION: The display device comprises: a TFT substrate 161; a counter substrate 162 arranged opposite to the TFT substrate 161; a liquid crystal 164 interposed between the TFT substrate 161 and the counter substrate 162; and a light-blocking layer 200 formed on a main surface of the counter substrate 162. The TFT substrate 161 and the counter substrate 162 each include through holes H penetrating therethrough. The light-blocking layer 200 is a region having a light-blocking material on the main surface, and surrounds a light-blocking material non-forming region containing no light-blocking material, on an inner wall of the light-blocking material. The inner wall of the light-blocking material is located outside the holes of the counter substrate 162. |
