<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device with a simple structure capable of vibrating a cutting edge of a processing tool elliptically by easy control.SOLUTION: A processing device 1 includes: a vibration source 3; a processing tool 2 having a cutting edge to vibrate elliptically with vibration from the vibration source 3; and a holder 4 connected to the vibration source 3, for holding the processing tool 2. The holder 4 has a vibration transmission part 4c for transmitting vibration from the vibration source 3 to the processing tool 2. The vibration transmission part 4c includes: a first vibration transmission part 4d by which a longer direction is a direction substantially parallel to an X direction substantially orthogonal to a Z direction being a vibration direction of the vibration source 3 and a Y direction, when viewed from the Y direction substantially orthogonal to a plane containing an elliptic locus of the cutting edge of the processing tool 2; and a second vibration transmission part 2e which is disposed nearer to the processing tool 2 than the first vibration transmission part 4d, and by which a longer direction is a direction substantially parallel to the Z direction when viewed from the Y direction. The holder 4 resonates with the vibration from the vibration source 3.</p> |
