PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can be easily locked and unlocked.SOLUTION: The electronic equipment has a base 10 and an upper cover 20 connected to the base so as to be rotatable. A mark 23 is disposed on the outside of the upper cover and, upon detecting an applied operation action, generates and transmits a corresponding signal to an identification unit. The identification unit determines whether a fingerprint that performed the operation action is an authorized person's fingerprint or not on the basis of the detection signal, and unlocks the electronic equipment.
