PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which deflection and wrinkles of an optical sheet caused by positioning are prevented, and dust emission from the optical sheet by expansion and contraction of the optical sheet, vibration during transportation, etc. is reduced.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 includes: a display panel 20; a panel holder 30 that holds the display panel 20; a case 70 that houses a substrate 60 on which a light source 61 for projecting light onto the display panel 20 is disposed; and an optical sheet 40 that diffuses and collects the light from the light source 61. At a peripheral portion of the optical sheet 40, a notch portion is provided. In the case 70, a convex portion that extends in the display panel direction and is inserted into the notch portion is provided. In addition, the notch portion is provided so as not to be in contact with the convex portion even when the optical sheet 40 is moved to any positions within a movable range of the optical sheet 40. |
