摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high temperature shape memory alloy or a superelastic alloy showing large shape recovery or superelasticity at high temperature by adding third elements to TiAu thereby improving high temperature strength, and to provide a method of producing the high temperature shape memory alloy or the superelastic alloy.SOLUTION: There is provided the high temperature shape memory alloy or the superelastic alloy containing Ti of 48 to 52 atom%, one or more kind of Hr, Zr, Ta, Nb, V, Mo, W of 0.1 to 22 atom% and the balance Au with inevitable impurities and showing shape recovery in the range of temperature of 300°C to 600°C or showing superelasticity at 400°C or higher.
