PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working efficiency while suppressing overkneading to an unvulcanized rubber M. ! SOLUTION: While a gap amount between kneading rolls 25,26 is a kneading gap during the kneading of the unvulcanized rubber M, since a loop 44 of a strip of rubber 35 is segmented with a change in the gap amount to an exhaust gap amount wider than the kneading gap when the viscosity of unvulcanized rubber M reaches a target viscosity, a shear force given to the unvulcanized rubber M during exhaust reaches a small value, so that the situation that unvulcanized rubber M already kneaded to the target viscosity is further kneaded to overkneading can effectively be suppressed.
