TRAVEL TIME ESTIMATION DEVICE AND ROUTE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable estimation of a travel time to be affected by an event even when the event takes place at a specific venue for the first time.SOLUTION: A travel time estimation device 2 obtains a travel time for traveling along an object road link which may be affected by an event G1 to be held at a venue A. The device 2 comprises: an acquisition section which is capable of acquiring a history of holding of the events G1 in the past at the venue A; and an estimation section 22 which obtains a travel time for traveling along the object road link according to the acquisition result. The acquisition section 21 is capable of further acquiring a history of holding of the events G1 at other venue and a history of holding of similar events at the venue A. The estimation section 22 obtains the travel time for traveling the object road link by using a travel time in other road link affected by holding of the events G1 at the other venue and a travel time in the road link affected by holding of the similar events at the venue A.
