<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin key switch having a guide mechanism for guiding the movement of a key cap, while maintaining a depression feeling satisfying a user.SOLUTION: In a key switch, a base is arranged below a key cap. A frame has a housing space for housing the key cap, and the housing space is defined by the X axis, Y axis and Z axis, where any two axes, out of the X axis, Y axis and Z axis, are perpendicular to each other. A guide mechanism is arranged between the key cap and base, and guides the key cap to move substantially in parallel with a plane defined by the X axis and Y axis, depending on an external force exerted on the key cap. The guide mechanism guides the key cap to move along a movement route, and gives a first displacement along the X axis, a second displacement along the Y axis and a third displacement along the Z axis to the key cap.</p> |
