PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible meshing type gear device capable of improving the assembly between an exciter and an exciter bearing, and to provide a method of manufacturing the flexible meshing type gear device.SOLUTION: A flexible meshing type gear device 100 comprises: an exciter 104 having a non-circular cross-section; an outer teeth gear 120 having such flexibility as to be flexibly deformed by rotation of the exciter 104; an exciter bearing 110 arranged between the exciter 104 and the outer teeth gear 120; and an inner teeth gear 130 having such rigidity that the outer teeth gear 120 is subjected to inscription engagement. The exciter 104 includes a main body part 104A and a complementary part 104B which are divided from each other, the main body part 104A and the complementary part 104B have contact surfaces 104AB, 104BB which are brought into contact with each other, the main body part 104A and the complementary part 104B are respectively made to be wedge-shaped and the main body part 104A and the complementary part 104B are fixed while the contact surfaces 104AB, 104BB are brought into contact with each other. |
