PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person to prevent mainly misplacing a key in a vehicle, forgetting to lock, and the like without using a LF wave (long wave).SOLUTION: A keyless system 2 for a vehicle includes a trigger switch 3, an on-vehicle machine 6 operating a door lock mechanism 5, and a portable machine 7. The on-vehicle machine 6 and the portable machine 7 are configured to perform short-distance radio communication. The portable machine 7 is equipped with a motion sensing part 21 capable of sensing a motion of the portable machine 7 itself. A misplacing prevention device 22 is provided, functioning so that: when a motion of bringing-out is sensed in the portable machine 7 by sensing th motion of the portable machine 7 by the motion sensing part 21 after getting off the vehicle, the door lock mechanism 5 is brought into a locked state, and when the motion of bringing-out is not sensed in the portable machine 7, it is assumed that a user has got out of the vehicle without bringing the portable machine 7 and the door lock mechanism 5 is brought into an unlocked state. |
