PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator with an enhanced usability.SOLUTION: A linear actuator 1 comprises: a first magnet 23; a second magnet 24; a movable element 22; a fixed element 21; a controller 30; and an amplitude controller 40. The fixed element 21 is attached to the first magnet 23. The movable element 22 is attached to the second magnet 24. The movable element 22 performs a linear movement with respect to the fixed element 21 and the first magnet 23. The controller 30 controls the current amount applied to the first magnet 23 on the basis of the current supply time to cause the movable element 22 to perform a linear movement. The amplitude controller 40 detects a displacement of the movable element 22. The controller 30 performs a feed back control of the current supply time to make the displacement closer to a target value on the basis of a difference between the displacement and the target value. The controller 30 switches the target value on the basis of the increase or decrease of the current supply time. |
