The present invention relates to a roaster with a heating means for cooking food, the roaster comprising a main body of the roaster in which an upper side is opened, a roasting gas burner is installed at both sides of an inner wall, and a grill support is formed at an upper part of the gas burner; a gas oven for cooking soup which is installed to be rotated to be emerged from a closed part of the main body to an opened part; a switching box to which gas supply pipes supplied to the roasting gas burner and the gas oven for cooking soup are connected, separately; a rotary shaft which is installed in the switching box to be rotated, and has a gas oven connecting hole and a gas burner connecting hole to selectively switch gas supplied to the roasting gas burner and the gas oven for cooking soup according to the rotation direction; and an operating lever in which one end is fixed to be at right angles to the rotary shaft, a part of the other end is extended to be ball-jointed with a gas connecting pipe which supplies the gas to the gas oven for cooking soup, and the gas connecting pipe is rotated when rotating the rotary shaft to emerge the gas oven for cooking soup. According to the invention, since the gas burner for roasting meat and the gas burner for cooking are integrated in one body so as to be operated selectively as needed in order to perform the roasting and soup cooking. The invention enables not only to simply warm the food but also to boil the food, thereby maximizing user convenience, preventing the energy waste by switching the gas supply pipes, and simplifying the structure. |
