PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing an Acer okamotoanum extract for preventing and treating thrombosis is provided to effectively suppress thrombin and thrombosis, and to prevent and treat thrombosis such as ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a thrombin inhibition active material comprises: a step of extracting Acer okamotoanum leaves with water or an organic solvent; a step of fractioning with an organic solvent; and a step of purifying amicon molecules. The organic solvent is selected among alcohol, C1-C4 anhydrous or hydrous alcohol, and a mixture of low class alcohol and water. The thrombin inhibition active material is high molecular polysaccharides with thermal stability and acid stability. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating thrombosis contains an ethyl acetate fraction as an active ingredient.
