Disclosed are a handover signaling apparatus and method to provide mobility between donor base stations (donor eNBs) during an inband operation of a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) REL-12 LTE-A mobile relay node. The handover signaling apparatus according to the present invention comprises the following: a relay node operation and management server which operates to provide sequential list information of donor eNB cells available for cell camping and handover with respect to source donor eNBs and target donor eNB cells located on a predetermined route; and a mobile relay node which perceives a first donor eNB cell when power is on and predicts a donor eNB cell available for handover based on the cell list information provided by the relay node operation and management server to perform the handover from a source donor eNB cell to a second donor eNB cell. |
