<p>The apparatus (1) has two housings (101, 201) for receiving two longitudinal treatment surfaces (12, 22) of hair to be heated by two electrical heating units. One of the housings is moved with respect to the other housing between an open position and a closed position. A gripping and actuation unit comprises a longitudinal axis in the closed position of the housings. The gripping and actuating unit is located in an actuating plane (Ps), where axis of the gripping and actuating unit is secant in the plane to form an acute angle (alpha) that ranges between 25 and 75 degree. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating hair.</p> |
