PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impingement jet type cooler of good cooling efficiency. ! SOLUTION: A cooler 2 is impingement jet type. The cooler 2 includes a base plate 3, a plurality of fins 4, and a refrigerant nozzle 5. A cooled object is attached to the front surface 3a of the base plate 3. The plurality of fins 4 are attached to the back surface 3b of the base plate 3. The refrigerant nozzle 5 ejects the refrigerant from the back side toward the base plate 3. Each fin is provided with a slit 6 reaching the base plate 3 across the plurality of fins. The tip of the refrigerant nozzle 5 elongates between the slits 6, and the edge of the fin 4 corresponding to the slit end is in contact with the parallel side faces 5d, 5e of the refrigerant nozzle 5. !
