PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine capable of preventing a battery from running out of residual capacity within estimated operating time and curbing a decrease in work efficiency beyond necessity.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises: a battery 15; a revolving motor 16 which is driven by power supply from the battery 15; a mode selection switch 29 to set a maximum value of hourly discharge power of the battery 15; a vehicle body controller 11 which controls the hourly discharge power of the battery 15 not more than a value set through the mode selection switch 29 and calculates estimated operating time of a hydraulic shovel on the basis of residual capacity of the battery 15 and the value set through the mode selection switch 29; and a monitor 23 which displays the estimated operating time of the hydraulic shovel calculated by the vehicle body controller 11.
