RETENTION PLATFORM FOR ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retention platform for an animal which allows an experimenter to easily do the task in the state of retaining an animal thereon.SOLUTION: A retention platform 100 for an animal includes: a pair of placing frames 102 on which each of the head part side and the tale part side of a stretcher 200 for carrying and supporting an animal is placed; and a single support frame 104 which supports the pair of placing frames 102. The support frame 104 includes a generally rectangular base frame 106 and portal frame bodies 112 each of which is provided on a pair of short sides 108 of the base frame 106. The placing frames 102 include: generally rectangular slide frame bodies 118 which are vertically slidably provided along the portal frame bodies 112; and stretcher shaft guides 130 having a plurality of grooves 128 which are provided in the upper sides of the slide frame bodies 118 and are upwardly opened. The pair of placing frames 102 and the single support frame 104 are connected by a pair of ball screw type lifting mechanisms 132 for independently lifting and lowering each of the pair of placing frames 102.
