PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized overload slip device which is small in a diametrical direction and short in an axial direction, and an electric tool. ! SOLUTION: An electric tool comprises: a motor; a gear 11 which is rotated by the power of the motor, and has a shaft hole 19; a power transmission shaft 12 rotatably provided in the shaft hole 19 of the gear 11; and an overload slip device 13 provided between the gear and the power transmission shaft 12. The overload slip device 13 is equipped with a groove portion 18 on either one of the shaft hole 19 of the gear 11 or the power transmission shaft 12; and a pressing member 21 which is provided in the groove portion 18 through an elastic body 20, and transmits power from the gear 11 to the power transmission shaft 12 by pressing the other of the shaft hole 19 of the gear 11 and the power transmission shaft 12 with the elastic force of the elastic body 20. !
