<p>The present invention relates to an articulator for use in determining the tooth arrangement relationship by attaching upper jaw and lower jaw models, where an upper jaw fixing plate and a lower jaw fixing plate are adapted to be folded by a folding means comprising a swivel axis and a swivel support; the folding means is fitted with a control means comprising a mount and a control plate where the control plate is adapted to be caught and fixed at various angles to the mount and the movement of the swivel axis is restricted by controlling the control plate; and both ends of the swivel axis are controlled differently by controlling the control means so that only one end is fixed, accordingly lateral movement and masticatory movement tests can be carried out in the state of the upper and lower jaw fixing plates being eccentrically fixed, and consequently upper and lower jaw movements can be tested in various forms which then allows determining and correcting an occlusion more precisely as well as achieves an occlusion adjustment more closely to the masticatory movement of teeth.</p> |
