PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil unit with high reliable on-vehicle component by preventing breakage of terminals due to vibrations.SOLUTION: The coil unit includes: a body 22 having a generally square pole-like shape including a coil element 21 therein; and a pair of plate-like terminals 23 connected to the coil element in which one end of the respective terminals 23 is fixed to a side face of the opposing body 22, the side face of the terminals 23 is folded toward the bottom plane, and the other end of the terminals 23 is disposed on the bottom plane of the body 22. The bottom plane of the body 22 is formed with a cut-of portion 31 recessed from the bottom plane of the body 22 in a position including a range opposing to a corner 30 of the other end of the terminals 23 but not overlapping with the coil element 21 viewing from the bottom. The corner 30 of the terminal 23 is folded along the inner wall of the cut-of portion 31, to thereby fix the corner 30 of the terminal 23 to the bottom of the body 22. |
