PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter in which reduction of harmonics and followability can be minimized in the shaping of partial waveform of an AC waveform by a booster circuit, even when a DC voltage outputted from a DC power supply varies.SOLUTION: A power converter includes a booster circuit connected in parallel with a solar cell 1, i.e., a DC power supply, and shaping a partial waveform of an AC waveform by stepping up a DC voltage Vi outputted from the solar cell 1, an inverter circuit connected in parallel with the booster circuit and shaping the residual waveform other than the partial waveform of the AC waveform by stepping down a voltage outputted from the booster circuit, and a control circuit 8a having a control gain generation unit 206 for generating a control gain K based on the DC voltage Vi, and an operation amount calculation unit 220 for calculating the operation amount when the booster circuit shapes the partial waveform, and then calculating an operation amount from the control gain K and controlling the booster circuit by using the operation amount thus calculated. |
