PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making cutting device for efficiently performing work by reducing a burden on legs and loins of a worker by decreasing bending and stretching of the worker during cutting work.SOLUTION: The cutting device comprises an engage and hold mechanism 9 formed from a rotary lock part 10 which is provided in one of a receiver part 3 and a movable part 4 so as to freely rise, fall and rotate, and a lock part 11 provided in the other. The lock part 11 is made proximate and abutted to the rotary lock part 10 in a tilted state, the rotary lock part 10 is caused to rise and rotate. The rising and rotating rotary lock part 10 is engaged and locked to the lock part 11 or brought into a lock enabled state to be engaged and locked by cutting an operation rod 7, thereby holding an engaged state of the receiver part 3 and the movable part 4. The rotary lock part 10 includes a foot operation part 12 for performing a tilting and rotating operation to cancel the engagement and lock of the rotary lock part 10 and the lock part 11 by a foot. |
