<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallized glass housing which has suitable properties for electronic equipment housings, namely, is excellent in shielding properties, high strength and a production cost.SOLUTION: The crystallized glass housing comprises crystallized glass which exhibits 15% or lower diffuse transmittance, that is measured by using an integral sphere, to the light having any of 380-780 nm of the entire wavelength region. A crystallized glass sample, which is obtained by molding the crystallized glass into a planar shape having white external appearance and 2 mm thickness, is characterized in that the reflected light of a C light source exists within an area surrounded by: a straight line passing through a point A (x:0.2500, y:0.2500) and a point B (x:0.4000, y:0.3500); another straight line passing through the point B (x:0.4000, y:0.3500) and a point C (x:0.4000, y:0.4000); a different straight line passing through the point C (x:0.4000, y:0.4000) and a point D (x:0.2500, y:0.3000); and a new line passing through the point D (x:0.2500, y:0.3000) and the point A (x:0.2500, y:0.2500) when the reflected light thereof is measured. The crystallized glass housing is externally mounted to the electronic equipment.</p> |
