PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optimum operation condition in response to an operating status of a device.SOLUTION: An image recording device comprises: a recording head which records on a recording medium by discharging ink from a nozzle; ink supply means which supplies the ink to the recording head; maintenance means which cleans the recording head by using a cleaning liquid; identification means which identifies at least one type out of the ink, the recording head, and the cleaning liquid; operation information acquiring means which acquires operation information on at least one of the recording head and the maintenance means; operation condition acquiring means which acquires an optimum operation condition of at least one among the recording head, the ink supply means, and the maintenance means based on the identified type, and acquires the optimum operation condition in response to the acquired operation information; and control means which controls the recording head, the ink supply means, and the maintenance means under the operation conditions including the acquired optimum operation condition. |
