The method involves providing a blank from a starting material for an inner ring (130) and an outer ring (140). The inlets of the composite sliding bearing and the inner ring and the outer ring are treated with oil. The seal is attached with the sliding bearing, so that the space between the sliding surface of the inner ring and the sliding surface of the outer ring are sealed in parallel to seal end face of the slide bearing. The heat treatment is performed to blank either for martensitic hardening of inner ring and outer ring or bainitic hardening of inner ring and outer ring. The heat treatment of the blank is performed. The blank is grinded to form a sliding surface of the inner ring and the sliding surface of the outer ring in a precursor. The sliding surface in the precursor is cross looped. The inner ring and the outer ring are composed in order to obtain the plain bearing. An independent claim is included for slide bearing.
