<p>A method is provided for use in various well services, the method including the steps of: (a) forming or providing a well fluid comprising cellulose nanowhiskers; and (b) introducing the well fluid into a well. The method can be used, for example, for increasing the strength of a cement, for increasing the viscosity of a water-based well fluid, such as for a kill pill, a fracturing fluid, a gravel packing fluid.</p> |
