PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display device, capable of improving productivity.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a display device includes: preparing a first substrate on which a first display element part and a first extension part, a second display element part and a second extension part are formed; and preparing a second substrate on which a first release assisting layer in a position opposite to the first display element part, a second release assisting layer opposite to the second display element part and away from the first release assisting layer, a sacrificial layer in a position opposite to the first extension part and the second extension part, a first color filter layer positioned above the first release assisting layer, and a second color filter layer positioned above the second release assisting layer are formed. The method further includes: bonding the first display element part and the first color filter layer, and bonding the second display element part and the second color filter layer, and further bonding the first substrate and the second substrate in a state where the first extension part and the second extension part, and the sacrificial layer are facing each other; and removing a second support substrate from the first release assisting layer and the second release assisting layer while irradiating the second substrate with a laser beam and blocking the laser beam by the sacrificial layer. |
