PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a heating device for heating a continuously transported wire material with direct resistance heating.SOLUTION: The provided heating device includes a first electric conduction device 10 and a second electric conduction device each arranged via a gap along the transport direction of a wire material W. Each of the first electric conduction device 10 and second electric conduction device includes: a pair of rollers 20 trundling atop the wire material W while nipping the wire material in-between the respective outer circumferential surfaces thereof; a support unit 22 rotatably supporting and translating the pair of rollers along mutually opposite directions orthogonal to the wire material transport direction so as to contact and detach the pair of rollers with and from the wire material; and a contact unit 21 contacted slidably with the pair of rollers and connected to a current pathway of a current permeated through the wire material, whereas the support unit is configured adjacently to the first terminal plane side of the pair of rollers, whereas the contact unit is contacted slidably with the second terminal plane 20a of the pair of rollers. |
