PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting module such that a peripheral edge of a light emission surface does not become dark as if the peripheral edge were bordered.SOLUTION: A lighting module 1 includes: a light guide plate 20 which has an end surface 21 and a first main surface 23; a plurality of LED light sources 30 which receive incident light from the end surface 21; a light incidence surface 55 which is arranged on the side of the first main surface 23 of the light guide plate 20 and on which the light emitted from the first main surface 23 is made incident; and a diffusion plate 50 which has a light emission surface 56 where the light made incident from the light incidence surface 55 is emitted. The diffusion plate 50 has a projection strip part 51 which projects toward the light guide plate 20, is provided opposite a peripheral edge part 26 of the first main surface 23 of the light guide plate 20 on the side of the end surface 21 where the LED light sources 30 are arrayed, and has a light incident surface 52 receiving light emitted from the peripheral edge 26. |
