PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a fault location.SOLUTION: A monitoring device transmits monitoring information to adjacent communication devices 11, 12. A synchronization part 20 of the communication device 11 generates first synchronization information related to timing at which frame statistical information is collected on the basis of monitoring information. A first counting part 33 monitors a port connected to the communication device 12, and collects first statistical information on a frame to be transmitted to the communication device 12 on the basis of the first synchronization information. A generation part 39 generates a statistical frame containing the first synchronization information and the first statistical information and transmits the statistical frame to the communication device 12. The detection part 35 of the communication device 12 receives the statistical frame. A second collecting part 36 monitors a port connected to the communication device 11, and collects second statistical information on a frame received from the communication device 11 on the basis of synchronization information of the second collecting part 36. A comparing part 37 compares the first statistical information and the second statistical information corresponding to the synchronization information, and an output part 38a outputs abnormality information on the basis of the compared result. |
