<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a polycarbonate resin capable of preventing or reducing a yellow discoloration of the polycarbonate resin generated at a temperature of 200°C or 320°C during a melting polymerization process, and easily removing byproducts such as phenol even under a polymerization condition at 280°C or less.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a polycarbonate resin includes manufacturing a prepolymer (prepolymerization body) of polycarbonate by polymerizing an aromatic dihydroxy compound and diaryl carbonate, injecting an inert gas to the manufactured prepolymer (prepolymerization body) of polycarbonate and mixing the gas therewith, and foaming and polymerizing the prepolymer (prepolymerization body) of polycarbonate mixed with the inert gas. The method of manufacturing the polycarbonate resin can prevent or reduce a yellow discoloration of the polycarbonate resin generated during a melting polymerization of the polycarbonate resin.</p> |
