PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverted movable body from which an occupant can more naturally get off according to his/her intention, and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: An inverted movable body 10 relating to the present invention includes: wheels 13R and 13L that rotate in a forward or backward direction to move in an inverted state while the inverted movable body carries an occupant; a getting-off button 21 that detects input of a getting-off operation for providing instructions on the occupant's getting-off intention; and a control device 30 that inhibits rotation of the wheels 13R and 13L in the backward direction except for backward rotation based on the occupant's intention, depending on the detection of the getting-off operation. |
