PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a bathtub, capable of safely and easily performing attachment work to the sidewall of a bathtub and detachment work from the sidewall of the bathtub.SOLUTION: A fixing frame 110 and a movable frame 120 are arranged on the sidewall of a bathtub. A toothed belt 130 is formed on a rear surface 124 of the movable frame 120. Slide lock/release means 140 includes: an engagement member 141 including projections; an operation part 143 arranged on the front surface 123 side of the movable frame 120; a connection part 144 for connecting the engagement member 141 to the operation part 143; and springs 145 for energizing the engagement member 141 to be engaged with the toothed belt 130. When the operation part 143 is pushed in against the energization by the springs 145, the engagement member 141 is separated from the toothed belt 130. The engagement member 141 separated from the toothed belt 130 is stored in a chamber 170. The slide lock/release means 140 is attached to the fixing frame 110. |
