PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider for both of input and output which is excellent in operability, is free from problems such as size and power consumption, and enables an operator to acquire much tactile information and to provide an audio player using the slider for both of input and output.SOLUTION: The slider for both of input and output includes a knob 31 which can be operated by the operator, a driving shaft 36 to which the knob 31 is attached to make the knob 31 movable in an axial direction, a vibration generator 38 which is attached to the driving shaft, so as to generate a vibration in the axial direction with respect to the driving shaft 36, a position sensor 42 which detects the position of the knob 31 in the axial direction of the driving shaft 36, and a control part 44 which calculates a difference between a target position and the present position of the knob 31, based on the position of the knob 31 in the axial direction of the driving shaft 36 detected by the position sensor 42 and controls the waveform of an operation signal for operating the vibration generator 38, so as to move the knob 31 to the target position. |
