PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical junction box of new construction, capable of suppressing contact noise between a front end face of a bracket mounting piece and a bottom face of a bracket mounting recessed section without need for a separate member. SOLUTION: The present invention has a bracket mounting recessed section 52 into which a bracket mounting piece 12 mounted on vehicle body side is inserted to be mounted. A bottom face 68 of the bracket mounting recessed portion 52 is formed into such a tapered inclined plane that the mounting piece 12 has a narrower width as it goes to its deeper section in the insertion direction.
